N Srinivasan is set to be elected unopposed as president during the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Chennai on Sunday as his was the only nomination filed for the president’s post.Despite being subjected to public revulsion following the IPL corruption scandal that saw his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan arrested and chargesheeted, Srinivasan had announced his intention to contest the election following the Supreme Court clearing decks, while preventing him from taking charge till further notice.Srinivasan was supported by all the six South zone associations, thus taking out the possibility of a contest for the top post. Similarly, incumbent secretary Sanjay Patel and joint secretary Anurag Thakur also submitted their applications after the consent from the BCCI members.Treasurer Ravi Savant, meanwhile, is set to be replaced by Haryana Cricket Association secretary Anirudh Chaudhary, another Srinivasan supporter. كشف الكولومبي خوان كارلوس أوسوريو المدير الفني لنادي الزمالك، عن احتياجاته من صفقات جديدة للقلعة البيضاء في الموسم الجديد، كما أعلن أن الثنائي أحمد بلحاج وسامسون أكينيولا لا يوجد لهما مكان في الفريق.

الزمالك تعادل مع فاركو بهدفين لكل فريق، في المباراة التي لعبت أمس الأحد بالجولة الـ34 من عمر منافسات الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وقال أوسوريو خلال تصريحات في المؤتمر الصحفي بعد المباراة: “أطالب الجميع بعدم التواصل معي على هاتفي الخاص”.

وأضاف: “الجهاز المعاون المتواجد معي من أحسن الأجهزة الموجودة في الدوري، منذ 90 يومًا لي في مصر تعلمت الكثير من العادات والتقاليد، وراض عن اللاعبين بصفة عامة، يوجد لاعبون مؤثرون أكتر من غيرهم مثل دونجا ولكن أنتم تحبون لاعبين آخرين مثل شيكابالا وزيزو”.

وتابع: “أكثر مركزين مهمين في طريقة اللعب الخاصة بي هما حارس المرمى والمسّاك، عندما يكون الفريق جاهزًا بدنيًا يؤدي بشكل جيد”.

وأردف: “مباراة الأهلي والزمالك قمة كبيرة في مصر، ولكن مقارنة بالعالم ليست مثل الكلاسيكو أو ديربي ريفر بليت وبوكا جونيورز في الأرجنتين، أحترم ذلك ولكن الكرة المصرية في آخر 30 عامًا لا تقارن بما يحدث في الكرة العالمية”.

وأستطرد مؤكداً أن النادي الأهلي أفضل فريق يلعب كرة في مصر خلال الموسم الحالي”.

وعن احتياجاته من صفقات، أوضح: “لم أطلب 8 لاعبين، ولكن أرغب في التعاقد مع ثلاثة، مسّاك يلعب بقدمه اليسري ومهاجم رقم 9 مثل إبراهيموفيتش، لا شك أن سيف الجزيري وناصر منسي يقومان بدور هام لكني أريد مهاجمًا يستطيع أن يقف على الكرة، والثالث لاعب مركز 8”.

وأكد أوسوريو عدم احتياجه للثنائي أحمد بلحاج وسامسون أكينيولا، قائلاً: “لا يوجد لهما مكان في الفريق، ويعجبني لاعب الاتحاد السكندري أحمد عادل ميسي، إذا نجحنا في ضمه سيلعب في مكان مصطفى شلبي وسيد نيمار”.

وتابع: “أرى أن الثلاثي إبراهيما نداي وشيكابالا وإيشو هم الأفضل في مركز 10، ومحمد صبحي الحارس رقم 1 وعواد رقم 2”.

وأكمل: “طلبت تواجد دكتور تغذية مصري كي يضع النظام الغذائي للاعبين، وبالنسبة لي فأنا مستمر مع الزمالك”.

وأتم: “في مباراة الأهلي، مدافع الأهلي محمد عبد المنعم قام بحركة بالكرة والنتيجة 3-1، هذا عيب في طبيعة الكرة المصرية، أنا أحاول أن أغير في أسلوب اللاعب المصري حتي يكون مثل الأوروبي، لكن أسلوب الكرة المصرية الحالي صعب، وأريد تغيير ذلك”.

Watson suffered the injury while bowling during Australia’s final ODI in India on Saturday, less than three weeks before the Gabba Test.His availability in Brisbane will have ramifications for the balance of Australia’s side, for if he is ruled out or unable to bowl, the selectors would need to consider another allrounder to provide an extra bowling option. Watson remains confident he will be fit to bowl during the Test, but Australia’s physio Alex Kountouris said much would depend on the next few days.”Since returning home from India, Shane has been assessed and had scans on his injured left hamstring, which confirm a low-grade muscle strain,” Kountouris said. “He will have intense treatment and rehabilitation in Sydney over the coming days and just how well he responds to this will determine how quickly he can resume full training and match preparation.”It goes without saying that Shane and the medical team will be doing everything possible to get him fit and available for selection ahead of the first Test. We’ll be assessing him on a daily basis and expect to have a clearer picture of his progress later in the week.”Whatever the case, Watson is unlikely to have any first-class cricket before the Ashes opener, given that New South Wales have only one more Sheffield Shield match – against Queensland in Brisbane starting next Wednesday – before the Test. Watson ended the Ashes tour of England with 176 at The Oval, which effectively locked him in as the incumbent No.3 for the start of the home series.If Watson is fit to bat and bowl, he would be expected to remain at first drop with another batsman, perhaps the Tasmania captain George Bailey, to slot in down the order. However, should Watson be ruled out it might affect Bailey’s chances of a Test debut, for he is considered a middle-order player rather than a batsman who could fit in the top three.In that case, Bailey’s Tasmania team-mate Alex Doolan might be considered for his first Test as the No.3, while James Faulkner may take the allrounder’s role and Brad Haddin could move up to No.6. However, as well as Watson’s recovery over the next few days, the coming week will also provide clarity on the form of several batting contenders, with three Shield matches and an Australia A v England tour game all starting on Wednesday.

De acordo com os médicos, o Rei do futebol está em bom estado geral sob o ponto de vista clínico, porém não há previsão de alta. Também não há ainda uma data definida para a cirurgia de retirada do cálculo.

India fast bowler Zaheer Khan’s inclusion in the Test squad for the upcoming tour of South Africa marked the end of his year-long exile from the team. But for Zaheer, the primary question had been whether he wanted to go through the arduous process of trying to make a comeback, rather than how to go about it.”Last year, I sat down and I was thinking about exactly how to get back. Firstly, if I wanted to make a comeback, that was the biggest question for me,” Zaheer said on the sidelines of Mumbai’s training session ahead of their Ranji Trophy match against Vidarbha on Thursday. “When the answer was yes, I chalked out the strategy that was exactly needed and I did everything to make sure I was there. Obviously, the physical aspect was the big thing and I had to tackle that. And then in consultation with a lot of trainers and physios, I chalked out a plan and so far it has worked.”Zaheer’s latest comeback to the Test squad is different from his previous ones. Seldom has he been dropped on form during a long international career that began in 2000. However, his poor performances against England at home in December last year and his lack of match-fitness resulted in him being axed from the team.After being injured for most of IPL 2013, Zaheer travelled to France for a strenuous fitness stint with trainer Tim Exeter. He followed that up by training with former India trainer Adrian le Roux in Bloemfontein, before returning home and putting in a big performance for the India A team in the two unofficial Tests against West Indies A. Zaheer said that it was those games, particularly the one in Hubli, that helped him regain his confidence.”It’s been a slow progress right from Shimoga. When I went to Shimoga, I knew that I need some overs under my belt,” he said. “I didn’t want anything to happen suddenly. I was kind of progressing slowly but surely,” Zaheer said. “As I bowled a few overs in that particular game, slowly things started picking up. I’ve always believed in match practice being the best practice. The spell that I bowled in Hubli towards the end of the game gave me a lot of confidence and from then I just picked it up.”Zaheer also played three Ranji matches, including one against a strong Delhi batting unit, to try out different variations and prove his fitness to the selectors. “It was more to do with getting in that zone as far as matches are concerned. Once I had overs under my belt I was comfortable being on the field.”I was feeling that the recovery in between the spells was spot on. I was able to recover between the spells and come next day. So those were the things I was looking at. As far as Test matches are concerned, not only do you have to put in the effort on day one, but the important thing is you have to come back the following day and make sure you are there from ball one.”Zaheer’s stint in France also made him want to start a fitness centre in India on the lines of Exeter’s set-up. “I have planned to start something so that lot of people get benefited. I had the privilege to go abroad, I could afford to go and do those things. But I feel in India you need a set-up like that in terms of physiotherapy and fitness, so hopefully instead of giving you a lowdown, I can give you the real thing.”His immediate goal, however, is to excel on the field and mentor India’s young seamers. “That comes naturally for me. If I can help someone, I don’t hesitate to go up to him and say what I feel. Being a bowler in the subcontinent is not an easy task. It’s about just backing yourself and believing that. That thought process is very important when playing in the subcontinent.”Zaheer said he was looking forward to the upcoming series in South Africa, where he has fond memories. On India’s previous tour there, Zaheer returned to the team after a groin strain and contributed to a Test victory in Durban.

وقال هاني سعيد في تصريحات صحفية: “نهج بيراميدز خلال المواسم الماضية في التعاقدات الجديدة جعل الأمور أسهل بكثير، النادي واضح في تعاملاته بشأن الصفقات، ويمتلك إدارة تعاقدات تعمل وفق أسس واضحة، ولا يتعاقد مع اللاعبين بالصدفة ولكن وفق رؤية بعد متابعة دقيقة ودارسة وتحليل جيد لاحتياجات الفريق، على مدى موسم كامل وأكثر، وبعد عمل مخلص ومتواصل”.

وأكمل: “بيراميدز لا يتعاقد مع أي لاعب بالصدفة أو لمجرد أن ناديه استغنى عن خدماته، ويدرك جيدًا أن هناك محاولات لاستغلال اسم النادي من خلال بعض اللاعبين ووكلائهم للحصول على عقود أخرى وبمقابل مادي أكبر”.

وبسؤاله عن آخر الشائعات بشأن التعاقد مع أحد اللاعبين الذين لم يسجله ناديه، أوضح: “أرفض ذكر اسم اللاعب، وهناك لاعبين ووكلاء لاعبين يحاولون تسويق أنفسهم من خلال ربط اسمهم بأندية كبيرة، ونحن سعداء بتلك المكانة الكبيرة، ولكننا لن نعطي الفرصة لأحد أن يستغل اسم بيراميدز أو يضلل الأندية الأخرى بمفاوضات غير حقيقية”.

وأكمل: “خطة بيراميدز واستراتيجيته واضحة في الصفقات والتعاقدات، واللاعب المذكور لم أسمع اسمه من قبل، ومن يتحدث مرة أخرى بشكل غير حقيقي عن النادي ومفاوضات وهمية مع لاعبين سيتم الكشف عنه للصالح العام للأندية والكرة المصرية”.
