Saghir Hossain will be the team’s wicketkeeper. Manzoor, the captain, scored 76 off 95 balls, with four fours and a six, before he was out to his opposition counterpart Thomas Odoyo.The duo went at a rate of more than five an over. Majeed made 106 off 120 deliveries. A number of Aston Villa fans have been reacting to news shared by the Premier League in regards to the upcoming international break.

Villa announced on Monday that both Emiliano Buendia and Emiliano Martinez have been called up by Argentina for next month’s World Cup qualifiers.

Several Villa supporters weren’t impressed, as Argentina is currently on the UK Government’s red-list regarding travel to England, meaning a 10-day period of hotel isolation would be required for the pair before players can return to Villa.

However, Premier League clubs have now decided that they will not release players to represent their countries in red-list countries.

So, as it stands, it appears as if Buendia and Martinez will not be travelling next month and look set to remain in the Midlands.

Matheus (Savio) é um garoto que tem a confiança de todos no grupo.Dentro das opções que tínhamos no banco, era o que mais tem jogado.Ele demonstrou muita atitude – avaliou Zé Ricardo.

Assim como na partida contra o Atlético-MG, Matheus Savio tentou cruzar, mas acabou fazendo o gol.

O treinador do Flamengo admitiu que o seu time não foi muito bem, mas também deu créditos para o adversário.

-Não foi o jogo que gostaríamos de ter feito, principalmente no critério técnico. Mas não dar os créditos ao Atlético-GO seria um erro – ponderou.

Zé Ricardo também falou um pouco sobre Vinicius Júnior, que ficou no banco de reservas e não entrou no jogo.

-O planejamento do clube era estar com ele no Brasileiro, é isso o que o clube está fazendo, não é só o Zé Ricardo. Temos um grupo de profissionais com muita capacidade. Chennai held their nerve to chip away at the Ahmedabad Rockets’ batting line-up, despite a good innings from Damien Martyn, and their bowling, if not spectacular, has been containing. Once again, the form of the openers has been crucial to Chennai’s success. Their fielding too has been rather good.Neither Stuart Law nor Hemang Badani, major players for Chennai, have featured this season but both had full batting and fielding sessions on the eve of the match. Both are hopeful of playing but a fitness test will be taken on Saturday.Chandigarh’s batting didn’t really click in their opener, with the exception of Sarabjit Singh, whose unbeaten 41 from 22 balls clinched the tense two-wicket win against Mumbai. They will expect more from the likes of Lou Vincent, TP Singh and captain Dinesh Mongia, who all flopped against Mumbai.Players to watchDaryl Tuffey: Having established a reputation as world cricket’s first-over specialist – he developed an amazing penchant for taking wickets in the first over he bowled in Tests and ODIs – Tuffey struck with his sixth ball against Mumbai. According to reporter Marcelo Bechler, Tottenham are preparing a late offer for Barcelona’s Emerson Royal.

We are now into the final 48 hours of the summer transfer window, and Spurs may still have some business left in them before the end of Deadline Day.

They have so far brought in four fresh faces (Transfermarkt), and it seems that they may be looking to bring in another new player.

The Latest: Spurs eye Emerson Royal

It seems that Tottenham are looking to capture right-back Emerson from Barcelona.

They are already said to have made an offer of €20m (£17.2m) plus Serge Aurier for the Brazilian (ESPN), but that was rejected. Spurs are preparing a new offer, but the Blaugrana are looking for €30m (£25.7m, TNT Sports).

The Verdict: Late dash

Spurs have made a positive start to the season, with their three 1-0 Premier League wins putting them top of the table (Sky Sports), while they are also through to the group stages of the inaugural Europa Conference League. However, this will be a long season, and Nuno Espirito Santo needs a strong squad to cope with all its demands.

Royal has only made three appearances for Barcelona since signing for them in July, but the Spanish club’s financial problems (Bloomberg) means that any player could be for sale at the right place.  In 79 matches for Real Betis, he scored five goals and provided ten assists, showing his ability to make an impact in the final third.

The 22-year-old could be a real threat for Spurs if they were to capture his services.

O lateral-direito Junio voltou a ter oportunidade pelo Internacional e foi titular nas últimas duas partidas da equipe na Série B, no empate em 1 a 1 com o Juventude e na vitória por 2 a 1 sobre o Figueirense, na última terça-feira, fora de casa.

Aos 20 anos, o jovem garante que se sentiu mais à vontade no duelo em Florianópolis e projeta melhora se receber novas chances do técnico Guto Ferreira no futuro.

– Neste segundo jogo, estava mais tranquilo, me senti à vontade para poder arriscar um passe, um lançamento… Daqui para frente, vou procurar arriscar mais, podendo ajudar lá na frente e, claro, sempre pensando em defender. Espero ter uma sequência e dar uma boa continuidade ao trabalho – afirmou Junio.

O jogador chegou ao Colorado em 2015, emprestado pela Ponte Preta. No ano passado, seus direitos foram comprados pelo clube gaúcho e ele assinou contrato de três anos. Tanto em 2016 como em 2017, ele integrou a base para disputar a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior e foi um dos destaques.

Nos últimos duelos pela Série B, ele entrou no lugar de William, que se recupera de um problema no joelho esquerdo.
