By stumps they were 335 for four off 63 overs. Adam Hollioake had stuck 18 fours and three sixes in his 152-ball 146 and Ali Brown 89. Both remained undefeated with Surrey 468 in front.Warwickshire require another 297 runs for victory against Sussex at Hove. Sussex were finally dismissed for 341 in their second innings after Mark Davis and Keith Innes both batted sensibly with the former scoring 66. With seven wickets in hand Warwickshire will have it all to do on the final day if they are to wrap up victory.Yorkshire’s woes continued as they suffered yet another defeat. The already relegated penniless club were thrashed by Kent by eight wickets. Following on in the second innings the home side failed to make any significant start and lost wickets at regular intervals. Richard Blakey top scored with 94. Ian Fisher took four of the nine Durham wickets that fell on the third day for the addition of 198 runs. Michael Gough was the top scorer with 78, but the target of 170 posed no problems for Gloucestershire. Craig Spearman led them home with 114 not out.

Some Everton fans have been left buzzing over the news that Seamus Coleman has been given a new deal.

As per the official website of the Goodison Park faithful, the Republic of Ireland international has signed a new one-year deal that will keep him at the Merseyside club until the end of June 2023.

Coleman is currently the club captain and so it is very important to keep him in and around the dressing room, especially given that it is Rafa Benitez’s first season in charge.

The right-back is still very much first choice in his position, having played in no fewer than 31 games in total over all competitions in the 2020/21 season despite finding himself injured for spells of it (Transfermarkt).

Thus, while the Toffees have not signed anyone at right-back, it is important that they keep Coleman happy, fit and firing.

وأشارت الإذاعة إلى أن إدارة مانشستر يونايتد تخشى محاولات الأندية الأوروبية الأخرى لضم نونيز، خاصًة أنه يريد اللعب مع نادٍ يشارك في مسابقة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

نونيز تألق رفقة بنفيكا، وأصبح صاحب الـ22 عامًا محط أنظار العديد من الأندية الأوروبية بينها ليفربول وآرسنال وتوتنهام هوتسبير وبرشلونة، بجانب أتلتيكو مدريد وبايرن ميونخ.

داروين نونيز هذا الموسم مع بنفيكا يُقدم أداءً مميزًا، إذ تمكن من إحراز 34 هدفًا وصنع أربعة أهداف في 41 مباراة بمُختلف المسابقات.

An update has emerged regarding Leeds United’s interest in PSV Eindhoven forward Noni Madueke.

What’s the talk?

According to the Evening Standard, the Whites are among a number of clubs interested in signing the 19-year-old this summer.

The report claims that Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Bayern Munich are also chasing the England under-21 international, who left Spurs to join PSV in 2018.

Costa replacement

Last month, Football Insider reported that Jorge Mendes is working on a potential transfer for Leeds winger Helder Costa. The former Wolves man is now surplus to requirements at Elland Road, with Marcelo Bielsa ready to green-light a deal and Mendes eyeing up a La Liga switch for Costa.

He managed three goals and three assists in 23 appearances for the club last term, with two goals and one assist coming in the first two matches. This suggests that Leeds will need a player to come in and replace him this summer, as he was unable to provide consistent quality in the top flight.

Madueke could be that player. Victor Orta must secure a deal for the flyer in the coming weeks as he could be a terrific addition to the squad and add more goals and assists than Costa was able to provide. In the 2020/21 campaign, Madueke was directly involved in 14 goals in 11 starts for PSV, with 10 goals and four assists to his name.

Former England under-21 head coach Aidy Boothroyd called him a “powerhouse” and highlighted his ability to score and create goals. The 50-year-old said: “He’s a powerhouse of a player, technically very good, left-footed and likes to come in off the side of the pitch, off the right and go and link.

“He’s got a goal in him, he’s very creative. He’s got a massive smile, a lovely kid. The lads have taken to him, as they would because he’s a good player, he has that respect for what he’s done at PSV.”This shows that he could have the potential to come in and make an impact in the Premier League for Leeds. Although it is difficult to judge the bridge in quality between England and the Netherlands, Boothroyd clearly feels that the winger has the quality to make it at the top, and he still has time on his side to improve further.Madueke is eight years younger than Costa, so he has the potential to develop as he gains more experience in his career, whereas the current Leeds forward should be in his prime years and is not delivering the goods. Therefore, Bielsa could work with the 19-year-old PSV talent on the training ground to mould him into the perfect winger for his system.This is why the teenager could be the perfect replacement for Costa, as he has shown that he has the potential to improve upon his goals and assists tallies. O anúncio foi feito nesta segunda-feira pelo site oficial cruz-maltino.

A data de lançamento do “Descobridores” está programada para o próximo dia 17, marcando a data que o navegador Vasco da Gama encontrou o caminho maritímo para a Índia. Após a implantação do projeto, o clube passará a ter representantes em todos os estados do Brasil. Os observadores do programa terão respaldo do clube para organizar peneiras em suas regiões e avaliar o desempenho de atletas nos mais diversos campeonato do país.

Quem for selecionado será trazido para o Rio de Janeiro e formará na cidade a “Seleção dos Descobridores”. A equipe passará por duas semana de treinos e atividades no clube e enfrentará, ao término da preparação, o time cruz-maltino correspondente. A Seleção dos Descobridores sub-20, por exemplo, fará um amistoso com o Sub-20 do Vasco para serem melhor avaliados.

Vale destacar também que além dos juniores, o “Descobridores” será um fornecedor de talentos para as categorias sub-13, sub-15 e sub-17 do Vasco ao longo desta temporada. O programa pode ser visto em 2018.
