Corinthians, Ponte Preta, São Paulo, Cruzeiro, Fluminense e Sport são os brasileiros presentes na Copa Sul-Americana de 2017. As 44 equipes estão definidas. São clubes que não disputarão a Copa Libertadores. Outros dez eliminados na principal competição sul-americana entrarão na sequência da Sul-Americana.

A Copa tem seis campeões da Libertadores confirmados: Independiente (ARG), Racing (ARG), LDU (ECU), Corinthians, São Paulo e Cruzeiro. Os outros argentinos presentes são equipes de menor expressão: Arsenal de Sarandí, Defencia y Justicia, Huracán e Gimnasia y Esgrima. A Copa Sul-Americana começa em 28 de fevereiro e irá até 13 de dezembro, sendo disputada do início ao fim em jogos eliminatórios de ida e volta. São seis vagas do Brasil, seis da Argentina, quatro da Bolívia, quatro do Chile, quatro da Colômbia, quatro do Equador, quatro do Paraguai, quatro do Peru, quatro do Uruguai e quatro da Venezuela.

As duas melhores equipes eliminadas nas fases preliminares da Libertadores se juntarão às oito eliminadas na fase de grupos (terceiros colocados das oito chaves) e entrarão na segunda fase da Copa Sul-Americana. O sorteio dos confrontos da competição será realizado em 30 de janeiro, no Paraguai. O campeão garantirá uma lugar na Libertadores de 2018.

وعندما سُئل تشافي على هامش المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بالكلاسيكو حول تصريحات خافيير تيباس رئيس رابطة الليجا بشأن رغبته في رؤية ميسي يلعب بقميص برشلونة من جديد، قال: “ميسي هو أفضل لاعب في التاريخ وفي تاريخ برشلونة”.

وواصل: “ولكن ميسي لديه عقد مع باريس سان جيرمان، أعتقد أنه وقع لمدة عامين ولا يمكنني فعل أكثر من ذلك”.

وأتم: “نحن مدينون لـ ميسي يستحق منا أشياء عظيمة لما حققه، كما قلت لديه عقد عامين مع باريس، ولكن يبدو وكأنه يريد المجيء إلى هُنا كل يوم، ونحن أبوابنا ستكون مفتوحة له، لأن ما قدمه لنا لا يُقدر بثمن”.

O Peixe foi informado pelo agente que poderia conseguir a liberação do clube ucraniano. Então, diretoria e comissão técnica alvinegras aprovaram o nome, mas sabem que é praticamente um “sonho impossível”.

Bernard, que teve problemas nos últimos anos no clube ucraniano, retomou a boa fase. Ele voltou a ter chances com a chegada do técnico Paulo Fonseca e se destacou no último semestre.

Além disso, o Shakhtar não tem histórico de facilitar o empréstimo de seus jogadores. O clube já cedeu Wellington Nem ao São Paulo em novembro.

Ciente da dificuldade, mas ainda com esperança, o Santos busca outros reforços para o ataque. Porém, o clube não tem tido sucesso nas últimas negociações.

O Peixe fez investidas por Cazares, do Atlético-MG, e Marcos Guilherme, do Atlético-PR, mas ficou longe de ter um desfecho positivo. O presidente do Santos, Modesto Roma Júnior, também já abriu as portas para as voltas de Robinho e Gabigol, mas admite que são outras negociações difíceis de se concretizarem.

Após “resolver” o sistema defensivo, o Peixe prioriza as contratações de reforços para o ataque. Até agora, chegou para o setor o colombiano Vladimir Hernandez, que estava no Junior de Barranquilla.

Keith Gillespie believes that Dean Henderson will be Manchester United’s number one goalkeeper moving forward, and reckons that David Da Gea might have played his last game for the club.

If the Spaniard does leave Old Trafford this summer, his final kick in a United shirt would have been the decisive penalty which cost them a second Europe League title in five seasons following their dramatic shoot-out defeat to Villarreal on Wednesday.

Not only did De Gea’s missed penalty prevent his fifth major trophy for the Red Devils, but it leaves United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer searching for his first.

The 30-year-old started in United’s previous five European matches, part of 36 appearances in all competitions, but has endured the most testing of his 10 seasons at Old Trafford and has lost his place in the Premier League side.

With Dean Henderson now the first-choice in the league, reports believe that Man United are preparing to offload the Spanish goalkeeper to allow the former Sheffield United loanee to become their permanent number one.

Asked whether Henderson is now above De Gea in the pecking order, Gillespie told The Transfer Tavern:

“I think he is. I think when they brought him back, they did have that long-term that he was going to be the number one.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if David De Gea goes back to Spain in the summer, but he’s been an unbelievable servant, a great goalkeeper.”

Former Southampton CEO Les Reed has recently admitted that Southampton were looking at signing Wilfried Ndidi in 2016 following the departure of Victor Wanyama.

“When Wanyama went to Tottenham Hotspur, Wilfried Ndidi was someone who was on our radar.”

Wanyama joined Spurs from Southampton in the summer of 2016 after making 97 appearances for the Saints between 2013-2016, so he was a big player for the South Coast club to try and replace.

Ndidi was at Belgian side KRC Genk at the time and would’ve been available for around £15m had Southampton looked to sign him in the same summer window, as he would join Leicester City for that price in January 2017.

Since then, he has made 176 appearances for the Foxes, contributing nine goals and 11 assists, in which time he has established himself as one of the best defensive-midfielders in the Premier League.

His transfer value has shot up during his time with Leicester City, with Transfermarkt now valuing the Nigeria international at £45m, which certainly suggests that he would have been a worthwhile signing for the Saints.

This season saw the 24-year-old contribute one goal and four assists in 26 league appearances for Leicester City, which helped him average an excellent 7.25 rating from WhoScored.

This ranked him as the best performer in Brendan Rodgers’ side this season as they fell narrowly short of securing a top-four spot, which emphasises just how good a player he has become during his time in the Premier League.

Back in 2019, Rodgers was full of praise for his midfielder, saying:

Therefore, it seems clear that Ndidi would have been a superb addition to Southampton’s side in 2016, and Saints fans will likely be fuming that their club did not pursue him further after Wanyama’s departure given how good he’s been for the Foxes.

Marcus Bent thinks that David Moyes is the right man to take Everton to the next level and believes the Scot deserves another shot at managing the club.

Moyes spent 11 years at Goodison Park from 2002 to 2013, making the Toffees European regulars, and only left to replace Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

As we all know, his time at Old Trafford was disastrous, and with United miles behind leaders Manchester City, he was sacked before the end of his first campaign.

But the 58-year-old has been around the block since his departure, managing the likes of Real Sociedad and Sunderland before finding a permanent home at West Ham at the second time of asking.

And having got his managerial career firmly back on track by leading the Hammers into the Europa League group stages for the first time ever, Moyes is now being touted as a potential replacement for Carlo Ancelotti after he left for Real Madrid earlier this week.

Former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has reportedly already held talks with Everton, but Bent exclusively told Football FanCast that Moyes is also in the running:

“I spoke to people behind the scenes – David Moyes is now being targeted again by the chairman and the club.

“He’s done so well at West Ham; he’s done so well. Me personally, I wouldn’t appoint him, but he deserves it, he would be good for the club, the players, the team and take them onto the next level with the new stadium.”

O atacante Michael era aguardado na segunda-feira, no Fluminense para o início da pré-temporada. No entanto, o atacante se envolveu em um acidente de carro na madrugada de domingo e está internado no Hospital de Base de São José do Rio Preto desde então. Abel Braga, que trabalhou com o jogador de 23 anos em sua última passagem pelo clube, comentou a situação com tristeza e revelou que Michael estava perto de um acerto com a Ponte Preta para 2017:

E aconteceu isso. Agora ele tem de vencer de novo. A vida é curta. É mais um revés que ele precisa encarar. Ele vai ser forte e vai vencer – comentou o comandante do Fluminense.

O Flu acompanha o tratamento de Michael de perto com o médico Jorge Lopes. Na última atualização, o quadro de saúde do atacante, que defendeu o América-MG no último Brasileirão, era grave. O jogador, com um traumatismo cranioencefálico, segue sedado e entubado. Não há previsão de alta.
