أطاح منتخب أوروجواي بنظيره منتخب أمريكا، من منافسات بطولة كوبا أمريكا 2024، بعدما فاز بصعوبة في المباراة التي جمعت بينهما صباح يوم الثلاثاء.

واستضاف ملعب “أروهيد” مباراة المنتخبين في إطار منافسات الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة من دور مجموعات البطولة، حيث فازت أوروجواي بهدف دون رد. هدف فوز أوروجواي أمام أمريكا في كوبا أمريكا

وشهد الشوط الأول من المباراة خطورة ملحوظة من منتخب أمريكا، أصحاب الأرض، حيث سنحت لهم أكثر من فرصة للتسجيل.

ولم يقتصر ذلك الشوط على خطورة أمريكا، ولكنه شهد كذلك تدخلات قوية بين لاعبي المنتخبين، والتي تسببت في إيقاف اللقاء أكثر من مرة.

وأجرى منتخب أوروجواي تبديلًا اضطراريًا في الدقيقة 27، بعدما تعرض اللاعب ماكسيميليانو أراوخو لإصابة عنيفة عقب تدخل مع لاعب أمريكا تيم ريم.

وتوقف اللقاء من جديد بعد ذلك ببضع دقائق بعد تدخل بين بالوجون لاعب أمريكا وحارس أوروجواي سيرجيو روشيه، بعدما حاول رونالد أراوخو إبعاد هجمة خطيرة عن مرمى فريقه.

وفي الدقيقة 33، كادت أوروجواي أن تسجل هدفها الأول بعدما استغلت وقوف الحكم لإشهار بطاقة صفراء ضد لاعب أمريكا، كريس ريتشاردز لتشن هجمة مباغتة على مرمى أمريكا لولا براعة اللاعب تيم ريم الذي أبعد الكرة قبل دخولها.

وطال الأمر نجم برشلونة ولاعب أوروجواي، رونالد أراوخو، الذي احتاج إلى تدخل طبي بعد تعرضه لإصابة في الأنف، في الدقيقة 36.

ولم يتمكن بالوجون لاعب أمريكا من مواصلة اللعب، حيث اضطر إلى الخروج في الدقيقة 41، متأثرًا بإصابته.

وظلت النتيجة كما هي، حتى الدقيقة 65، حيث نجحت أوروجواي في تسجيل هدفها الأول عن طريق ماتياس أوليفيرا.

الهدف جاء من خلال ركلة حرة لـ أوروجواي، حيث تعين على حارس أمريكا، تيرنر، التصدي لتسديدة قوية من أراوخو، وترتد الكرة لتصل إلى أوليفيرا الذي يسكنها الشباك.

واحتج لاعبو أمريكا على احتساب الهدف، الذي فحصته تقنية الفيديو للتدقيق ما إذا كان هناك شبهة تسلل، لكنها أكدت في النهاية صحته.

وكادت أمريكا أن تسجل هدف تعادل قاتل، في الدقيقة 87، بعد تسديدة من حاجي رايت، ولكن حارس أوروجواي يتألق ويمنع الكرة من هز الشباك.

بتلك النتيجة، ارتفع رصيد منتخب أوروجواي إلى 9 نقاط في صدارة المجموعة الثالثة، ليتأهل إلى ربع النهائي، في حين تجمد رصيد أمريكا عند 3 نقاط في المركز الثالث ليودع أصحاب الأرض البطولة.

من جهة أخرى، حصل منتخب بنما على بطاقة التأهل الثانية من تلك المجموعة عقب فوزه على بوليفيا بثلاثة أهداف لهدف، في الجولة نفسها من دور المجموعات.

ويلتقي منتخب أوروجواي، في ربع النهائي، مع وصيف المجموعة الرابعة، في حين تلتقي بنما مع المتصدر.

Ten Hag may not have a fully fit squad to choose from for the visit of Pep Guardiola’s side, however, it looks as if one player is closing in on a return.

Chief football reporter for The Daily Mail, Sami Mokbel, provided an Aaron Wan-Bissaka injury update in the last 48 hours. He said that the full-back has taken a major step towards full fitness at Carrington after returning to training on the grass. He described it as a huge injury boost for the Red Devils, with the player possibly being available to return to first-team action within the next 10 days, should the final stages of his rehabilitation go to plan.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka Man Utd future

Wan-Bissaka has had an eventful 18 months under Ten Hag, and at one point, it was believed that the manager was ready to allow the player to leave the club. However, he has now won the Dutchman around, with reports on Wan-Bissaka’s Man Utd future earlier this month claiming that the defender is seen as integral to Ten Hag’s plans and that contract talks are underway.

Speaking at the end of last season, Ten Hag hailed Wan-Bissaka, saying:

“He has improved a lot, as many players have improved during the season. That's one of the jobs for a manager and the coaching staff, to get that done and we are really happy with it, that players are developing.

“Always the team spirit is the base and if players understand that, if they can set their egos aside, then you will see that the team develops and progresses. And then within the team's progress, individuals make a lot of progress and Aaron is definitely one of them.”

Therefore, knowing he is closing in on a Man Utd return is a boost as Mokbel mentions, and it’ll be interesting to see if he comes back in as first choice straightaway over the coming weeks.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع رئيس نادي الرجاء، محمد بودريقة، لمعرفة آخر تطورات صفقة كريستو وهل هناك خلاف مع إدارة الأهلي بالفعل، وقال: “ليس هناك خلاف مع إدارة الأهلي”.

وتابع: “هناك اتفاق بالفعل على استعارة كريستو وبند أحقية الشراء كان مرفوضًا من البداية من جانب الأهلي وبالتالي استبعدنا الأمر من جانبنا”.

وأضاف: “الآن، ننتظر وصول كريستو إلى المغرب خلال الأيام المقبلة من الأسبوع الحالي لأجل الخضوع للكشف الطبي مع الرجاء والتوقيع الرسمي على العقد بالإعارة لمدة موسم واحد”.

وعن قيمة إعارة كريستو إلى الرجاء: “لا يمكنني الكشف عن ذلك لأنه أمر خاص في التفاوض بيننا وبين إدارة الأهلي”.

Ben Stokes felt “under threat of immediate attack” moments before he became involved in a brawl in Bristol, the jury at Bristol Crown Court has been told.Stokes, the England cricketer who is standing trial for affray alongside Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale, was also described as feeling “vulnerable and frightened” as the incident unfolded and claimed that, having seen at least one bottle used in the brawl, feared his opponents had “demonstrated a willingness to use weapons in attacking people.” As a result, he claims he “had a reasonable belief they may be carrying more weapons, perhaps of a more serious type.”In statements provided to the police in the aftermath of the incident and read to the court on the third day of the trial – the first time since the incident that Stokes’ version of events has been made public – he also claimed that two men (Kai Barry and William O’Connor), who he claims had been subjected to “nasty homophobic abuse” from Ali and Hale, thanked him for protecting them.Stokes claims that, not long after leaving the Mbargo nightclub in the early hours of the morning on September 25, a group of four men came to his attention as they appeared to be engaged in an argument.”As the group came to my attention, I heard some of what was being said,” Stokes said in the written statement. “Although I can’t remember anything specific now, I do recall that the language being used was homophobic in nature and was being directed at Kai and William by Ryan Hale and Ryan Ali.”Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale were taller and broader than Kai and William. I noticed that they both had glass bottles in their hands. Despite the difference in their respective sizes and the fact Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale seemed to be in the mood for conflict, the pair on the receiving end of the abuse were verbally combative and sticking up for themselves.”They weren’t shying away from it but they were obviously offended by the abuse being levelled towards them.”What Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale were saying was far from harmless banter, it was nasty homophobic abuse.”I decided to intervene and asked Ryan Ali and Ryan Hale to stop abusing Kai and William. I said something like ‘leave it out – you shouldn’t be taking the piss because they’re gay.'”In response one of the guys said ‘Shut the f*** up and f**** off or I’ll bottle you.’ At the time he was holding a bottle in his right hand.”I decided at this point matters had become too serious to ignore and that I had to intervene to stop Ryan Ali. I struck Ryan Ali with my right hand just after he had delivered the blow on Kai and as he came at me with the bottle and had it raised.”At this point, I felt vulnerable and frightened. I was concerned for myself and others. We knew that they were prepared to use weapons that could do serious injury and I feared they could have other weapons with them.”The force I used in defending us was reasonable and entirely justified when the circumstances are viewed objectively. Amongst other things, Ryan Ali attacked Alex and Kai, with a weapon, when asked simply to stop using the homophobic abuse he was giving to Kai and William. This was an extreme act of aggression in the circumstances and informed my assessment of the situation.”I did not know Ryan Hale or Ryan Ali and I was forced to make a decision as to how far they would be prepared to go and what they might do if they got the upper hand. They had shown a willingness to use weapons in attacking people and were willing to gang up such that at points, the pair of them were attacking me on my own.”I knew they were prepared to use weapons and so had a reasonable belief they might be carrying more weapons, perhaps of a more serious type.”As the footage shows, when initially repelled, each of the men attacked and advanced towards me again. I needed to ensure that the incident was over and believed that I and those that I was with remained under threat at all material times.”Both Kai and William thanked me for preventing them from being beaten up.”The police interview given by Ryan Ali was also read to the jury on the third day of the trial. In it, Ali denied saying anything offensive to either Barry or O’Connor, but accepted that “one of the guys” became “quite irate” after “banter” between the men.”He raised his voice fairly loudly,” Ali said. “I know he wasn’t happy. I don’t know why he became irate.”Ali also claimed he didn’t recall where the bottle came from or holding it but accepted, having watched CCTV footage, that he brandished one in self-defence.”I believe I felt threatened,” he said. “I’ve a bottle up saying ‘move back’ I’m not trying to attack anyone. I can only guess I thought I was going to be attacked.”Ali also described how, as he lay “in the gutter” having allegedly been punched by Stokes, he made a phone call to the council’s CCTV office to ensure they had footage of the incident. He was subsequently taken to hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with a fractured eye socket.Earlier in the day, the jury were shown body-camera footage from the police officer (PC Stacey Allway) who arrested Stokes and heard from an off-duty police and community support officer who suggested Stokes was “the main aggressor” during the part of the fight he witnessed.Stokes is expected to take the witness stand on Thursday at about the time his England colleagues are due to start play in the Test against India at Lord’s.The trial continues.
